T he church books of Bohemia and Moravia, that former Sudetenland, only very few, selected church books were filmed in the period between 1933 and 1945 by the Reichssippenamt. It is primarily the oldest church books of the 17th and 18th centuries of selected places. These originals are now mostly in the relevant Czech state archives. Only microfilms are handed down at the German Center for Genealogy in Leipzig.
