We trust our honorary member Karin Rauschning
The news of the death on 07. Nov. 2014 of our girlfriend has hit us too deep.
With Karin we lose a wonderful wife, good friend and an outstanding genealogist.
She not only devoted herself to her own family research, but also researched the Heiligenbeil district
with great passion and a lot of work. Unfortunately she could not complete her work completely
bring to an end. Karin already had 16 books about the individual parishes Heiligenbeil
published, 5 were still in planning.
She always had an open ear and was happy to help anyone with her knowledge.
For this we would like to thank you again.
We will miss them very much.
We express our deepest condolences to the Rauschning family.

          Dear Karin,

          how much I miss you!
For many years we have exchanged information about Heiligenbeil County and its inhabitants, and have been able to rectify errors and mistakes in earlier genealogical publications. I gladly supported your tireless work. You also had great joy in my “coincidence finds” that could bring some light into the church bookless time of some parishes in the district. For every question you had an open ear and a constructive solution.
          Your performance was great!
My heartfelt sympathy to the family.
